Following on from the emphasis on the successful trader always knowing what is at stake, Andy stresses in a no-nonsense way (he’s extremely hype-free) that: ‘For each single stake you have an initial liability of around £60 but only ever risking up to £24. So if you trade a game using x4 stakes you will need a bank of at least £240.’

It is said that following Andy’s system will give you a 70% strike rate, which is pretty close to my 69% strike rate. What really makes this system work is the better returns, therefore better profits, that you get when compared to the basic backing and laying trades.

To access Andy’s system, you have two options: you can buy the PDF document that outlines in great detail (and in a well-executed and informative way) for £29.98 and go it alone; or you can buy the Strategy Document and embark on a 14-day free trial of his membership site, which is then charged at £18.99 a month (unfortunately no money-back guarantee stated).

At first, I thought I’d just buy the document, but after sampling the membership benefits, I will continue to use the full service. The most important and helpful element of the membership is access to the trading console, where Andy takes you by the hand and shows you step-by-step what he is trading, all live as the match is in play. Prior to the games (mostly evening and weekend games – and you do need to be present throughout the trade to be sure that you’re trading out at the best time) you’re sent an email containing tips and updates, staking sheets for imminent games and details of when he is going to be on the console – which is a lot of the time – and a stake-and-profit calculator that is as handy as Andy himself. Besides Andy’s almost-continual presence and patience as a teacher, one of the best things about this product is the fact that you always know where you are in terms of potential profit and loss.

The console is such a good place to make your trades through. If you know nothing about Betfair or even what the word ‘Lay’ means, then simply ask, and Andy will help you out, not to mention the whole host of fellow members who are also willing to teach you. At the console (best combined with the use of such software as Geek’s Toy) you get to see what others are trading and can find quick advice when a trade does not look to be working – if the score is remaining at 0-0 and the minutes are nearing the end, you are taught how to make counter ‘scratch’ trades that will not see you secure profit, but any losses will be minimised. One happy punter said that trading with the console’s help is ‘The most relaxed way to trade I have encountered.’

Andy does not just trade football – he also gives his attention to cricket, snooker and Formula 1. I’ve had little to no experience trading these sports, as they’re sports that don’t interest me much, but if one person could make me proficient in trading in them, it’d be Andy.

Andy joins Mike Cruickshank in terms of excellent customer service, and his Homer methods do work. In 8 weeks I made 56 trades and 39 of them were very profitable, giving me a strike rate of 69.6%. Not all of the losing trades were terrible either – as with Andy’s advice I could rescue them to become scratch trades.

Anatomy of a trade.

The “momo” or momentum trade is my bread and butter set up. The entry begins with a sideways (three o’clock Wave) – this signals that the market is in consolidation or congestion. Finding chart patterns like triangles and rectangles are common in these situations.

The British Pound was set up with this exactly this set up in front of the ISM number this morning.

The breakout level is clear as the lowest of the downtrend lines is the breakout level and that price level is also situated near the 0.786 Fibonacci Level at 1.8747. Since the breakout price is so close (three pips) to the “50” pip psychological level, I would place a buy stop at .8755.

Now there are secondary confirmations that can help set up momentum trades because in the truest sense, momentum trades could break to either side – and a trader must be ready for both. I use indicators to filter these entries. The main filter is the MACD Histogram — my oscillator of choice for these situations. Another excellent secondary confirmation tool is the U. S. Dollar Cash Index.

The U. S. Dollar Cash Index was also trading in a sideways direction (look at the Wave) and the MACD Histogram confirmation tool is well below the zero line which is the filter for a potential short. Now even though this is not the trade-able chart, the indicators are certainly pointing in a very bearish direction.

And ofcouse a weak Dollar means a stronger Pound.

The Pound broke sharply to the upside as the Dollar tanked…

A few things to note here: The Pound set up is what I call a “pre-confirmed” set up whereby the MACD Histogram was well-established above the zero line. This means that only the break to the upside would be confirmed. Again, remember the MACD Histogram is a filter and trades are not set up with this or any other indicator. Indicators only “indicate”. Prices trigger entry and exits – so it still comes down to prices reaching a the breakout or breakdown level.

The U. S. Dollar Index is far from steady on the daily timeframe and it appears sharp moves up and only to be driven down by equally sharp sell offs…and vice versa. The intraday charts however do have excellent set ups. My focus is going to be on mainly 30 and 60 minute timeframes as long as the daily charts are congested and the Wave travels in what I call “lumpy and bumpy” direção.

I have to admit that I asked for a review as I have been using this service for a while now and am very pleased with it. I am not going to quote any figures for myself as I am not that organised and there are statistics on the site showing it’s performance.

I know little to nothing about football but the ‘Homer’ is a football strategy which as the proprietor says, is not available anywhere else on the internet and is the mainstay of the service. Having said that, it works for me.

Andy, the aforementioned proprietor clearly knows a great deal about football as well as a sports trading and his service undoubtedly does what it claims. The purchase price comes with 14 days access after which you have to subscribe but if you are football savvy, at that point you can also go it alone with no further expense if you choose.

The console is good fun and you will get all the help you need and Andy is a wizz at putting people right when they have gone wrong – backed an outcome instead of laying it etc.

To be fair you are advised to use software ( Geeks Toy, Betangel) and of course you have to pay for some of these but again, ask Andy’s advise.

There are so many people on this website complaining about things that don’t work, sellers who are unreliable, offers that are too expensive etc etc etc and yet here is one that does work, is endorsed heartily by people who actually use the system but it seems, not one person has posted anything here to suggest they will even give it a look. The first and most important thing to say about this homer strategy is that it works.

In terms of success rate see my post above. In terms of actually trading, worst case you might have to watch a whole match. There are often multiple opportunities during a day too. The most important thing is that you know what is at stake at any time so you can choose to exit should you wish. Espero que ajude.

Stetay2 – Why don’t you send Andy an email or log in to the console and he will explain what to do and give you as much help as you need. If you read this thread and reviews elsewhere you will find his customers are very happy with the service he provides but then again, you can’t please everyone.

I have refrained from commenting up to now but feel I must respond to the comment by stetay2. I accept criticism when it is justified but comment has come totally out of the blue. This member joined last week and attended the console that day. It became apparent that stetay2 did not have any experience in Betfair markets and did not know terms like ‘lay’. In essence he was a complete newbie but during his time at the console he was helped not only by me but by many of the members who were there at the time. He was treated well by everyone.

In addition I received a few emails which I responded speedily. My last email from stetay2 thanked me for my help. So his comment is very puzzling.

what ive found is there is little or no courses on how to get started in the betting world, and what seems like very basic concepts and terms to us, is a huge hurdle to quite a few, and in some ways even though they may con themselves that they can jump into this world, they then find themselves in over there heads and everything sort of mounts up into a big unworkable system, from which frustration spills out into comments such as from stetay2.

The first time i heard the word lay in betting terms 8years ago i honestly could not get my head around it, and getting a Betfair account was just adding to the pain of system buying. I does seem that this chap may not be English as the post is very disjointed.

I was there when you signed up, and i was one of those members that out from the blue offrered you all the help you obviously needed. You dont know what Betfair is and you need to start from the begining so you know the basics simple trading. But you obviously dont have that gene that understands trading since you write bad reviews about hardworking service owners and what they offer after 1 day trying to understand trading. I am pretty shure you write bad things just because you know you dont understand it and that you whont be able to understand it either. Andy would probably stay up all night long trying his best to help you if you ask and the start definitly works, there is no question about that. And i know he tried to help you but it`s not his fault if you cant understand basic trading.

Hello, I havent posted before but have been signed up to Andy’s service for a coupla months now and cannot recommend it highly enough. I happened to be there the evening Stetay was in the chat room and it became clear very quickly that Stetay was very much a newcomer to sports trading and had never heard of betfair or laying. As well as Andy himself trying to help several of us exited active trades to point him not only directly to sites which explained in details but also advice on how to build up his “bank” for trading and to encourage him that we were all new to it once.

Given the amount of help he received I am astonished at the tone of his post above. I can only conclude Stetay may actually a competitor to Andy?

To conclude, I have joined several services but cannot recommend this one enough, although I would recommend that you do ensure first that you understand the concept of backing and laying first; Andy actually leads us thru live trades, instructing what to back/lay and when/how to exit etc. If you have come this far, congrats, you have bypassed a lot of rubbish out there! Wish I had come here first….

Stetay2, did not give the service a fair chance. he came in and didn’t have a clue of how to even put a bet on let alone understand the basics. He was welcomed and helped not only by Andy but also Wiggy and others. If he had a problem instead of posting bad unjust comments on here why did he not ask Andy for his help first. Nothing is given to you on a plate and like everything else in life you have to learn new skills and practice them. After all nobody starts life when going to school with knowledge, you learn that from your teachers and by asking questions. This system does work but you need patience, obviously SteTay2 does not have this quality.

The one thing that i do not understand is the comments based on the back of people trying to help the lad, its and old saying but there are some strange characters around., and indeed you cannot please everybody.

I do think in this case of bite the hand that feeds you. Or in this case tried to feed you.

I purchased the system last Thursday and even though I am used to using betfair when I read through the system there were a couple of issues I just needed to be sure on.

I e mailed ANdy twice and both times got a speedy response with a detailed answer to my questions. CUstomer service is first class. Due to work commitments I haven’t been on the console yet and I am still to use the system in anger as it were.

I have no affiliation to ANdy and I am just a punter trying to make a couple of extra quid.

Once I have used this system and the console I will have no problem giving an honest assessment. So far it’s a 10/10 for me.

This sounds like another little known (as yet) gem like Mike’s Bonus Bagging.

Presumably this can be done in the evening / weekends around a day job – am I correct?

Is the console live trading access mainly during the day or evening – presumably Andy isn’t available all hours.

I’m fairly new to trading, only been at it for about 2-3 months, but I did my research, looked at various trading services, but before I subscribed to any I made sure I knew what the system/service was about first. I would never join any kind of(trading) service without knowing the basics. And how anyone can subscribe to something they know absolutely nothing about, then complain and blame others for their complete lack of knowledge, is pretty mind boggling.

I was also online when the poster above joined in and was asking questions such as “what’s laying?” “what’s Betfair?” and here he is subscribing to a trading service without knowing what Betfair is, or even alay bet.

I’d also like to give The Homer Sports Trading service a big thumbs up. You know exactly where you stand with regards to how much the potential profits and losses will be. It’s a clever but simple strat and if you’re unsure about it at first, Andy will guide you through the trade to the end.

Can anyone give an indication of total profit earned Vs time spent using this service.

Trogster, yes it is mainly the evenings and weekends but Andy will send you a mail every day with updates, staking sheets for imminent games and details of when he is going to be on the console – which is a lot of the time. You do not need to use the console however as Andy will also inform you of possible trades as well as his picks and you can just trade them on your own once you understand the strat.

Bobby, Andy is completely open about his profit and loss, games staked etc, nothing is hidden but it is not easy to give an answer to your question above. Andy can give you profit/loss figures for the whole period Homer has been trading if that would help.

I have said before, it won’t make you rich it is fun and it works. Like Bonus Bagging it cannot be scaled up unlike a forex strategy where you can increase your p[ip value as you improve.

Like many others I try to do my homework on a service as much as possible and check that I’m making the right decision in joining before I part with my very hard earned cash.

I double check with as many sources as I can find if I think that it will suit me and my trading, and from all reports that I could come across over a couple of months, Homer Sports seemed to fit the bill and I’ve not been disappointed.

Andy offers fantastic and personal support on the console and helps you each step of the way with the trades, as do the other members who are all a friendly bunch… not to mention other trading tips when they arise… and what does actually seem to be constant help from everyone… if you have your own trades on the go and want some advice then help is always on offer on the console… no more trading alone and wondering what to do if it gets tricky, advice is on hand on the console.

There are winning trades / there are losing trades… that’s part and parcel, but I know I’ll have a few extra quid to spend with the Strategies on offer. I am in profit overall with the service and my first month was paid for with my first trade that I done… cant say better than that really.

A big plus point, is that you know exactly what your profit or loss is before entering a trade… there are no if’s or buts… it’s in black and white for you.

You can trade what Andy trades on the console with step by step instructions, or you can pick your own when they fit the excellent strategies.

The first homer trade I done was on my own and it won … that paid for that months subscription … if I can win on my first trade by following the manual on my own then anyone can.

Pros: great strategies, fantastic support and help. Tips and general trading help on the console both from Andy and fellow members alike.

Like several of the people posting above I am a subscriber to Andy’s service.

I have found Andy’s service to be free from the usual hype, bull, and frequent lies that many other service providers clutter their e-mails and web pages up with.

The home page is clear and concise. The service provided couldn’t be more helpful. Especially to newcomers to Trading. Andy hasn’t glossed over the losers or spun the winners. In my opinion Andy’s is an honest service run by a genuine person.

A wise person who was unsure what was written on the sign up page would have taken some time to do some research, and then eased themselves in to the fray.

I was at the console on the evening Stetay2 discusses above. It was blindingly obvious that he had did not have the remotest clue what the service was about.

A wiser person than Stetay2, realising they had jumped in with very little thought, would have kept his hand in his pocket, sat back and absorbed over the 2 week free trial period all of the good information he was being provided with via members comments, reflections and general advise. But then Stetay2 isn’t very wise.

Stetay2 takes naivety and foolishness to a new level. The internet is full of sharks that feed off of people like himself. Scammers attract people like Stetay2 by hand holding promises, but unfortunately the Stetay2’s of this world ALWAYS get their hands bitten clean off. Virtually all scream “I was robbed” after the event. And go on to repeat the exercise.

Stetay2 hasn’t fallen for any con when he signed up for Andy’s service. The only con was the one Stetay2 perpetrated on himself: He thought that he could make money without any work himself. That others would do the work for him, and he could sit back and enjoy the benefits.

There are a small number of people in this world that do pull that trick of. But Betfair traders aren’t amongst them.

I meant to post here sooner. I’ve been a member of Andy’s service since last December (I think). I immediatley found Andy to be a very open and honest trader. I’ve been a member of three other services and I am well used to people putting a positive slant on their results. Andy doesn’t do this at all, and I can pretty much confirm all his results from December are accurate.

My inital plan to was to pay for the manual so I could trade alone but once I visited the console I knew I would be subscribing to the monthly service. The atmosphere is very friendly, the friendliest I’ve encountered, and Andy is simply fantastic constantly answering questions and offering guidance. You are never sitting waiting looking at a big red screen wondering what to do. As Andy says, you always know what is at stake.

Soon after joining Andy started giving advice on other sports, at first I was wary but again Andy offered continual help and advice. The reason for entering the market is always explained and exit points are discussed. I really enjoyed trading the Cricket and F1 as these are sports I knew little about prior to trading them. Andy also does Snooker and this has proven profitable when opportunities arise.

The service appears to me to be growing and every effort is made to help new members out. I would 100% recommend this service to traders of all levels. All bank sizes are respected as are different levels of knwledge.

In conclusion I’m in profit, I enjoy the time at the console and the daily emails mean I can plan my trading to suit me.

Can this be used as a set and forget system? ie lunchtime or afternoon you set the bets and then just leave them? Or do you need to monitor more closely? I can’t spend the evening at a console online as it is the only time I get with the family? I work for myself in the office during the day so am able to do the set ups and bets during working hours.

If this isn’t the most suitable for my available hours can anyone suggest what profitable system might be?

i will purchase this product and give it a full review, from the review comments and thread members on here it would seem to be a trading method, as the name implies, its a backing and then laying or vice versa system. This on its own implies having to monitor a price, goal or lack of one and trade out if my judgement is anywhere near here.

Im particulally interested in the success hit rate which is partly the reason i will purchase this and i will get back to this thread when i have some results over a given time,….in detail.

scarb, it is a trading service and you do need to be at the computer while the game is in progress. But you do get emailed lists of potential games which are games from all over the world, some am kick offs, and pm kick offs. But the official picks tend to be the usual evening kick off times, or afternoons at the weekends.

Hi carlos, no ive put it off for now, im snowed under with my own systems to be honest, it would mean delaying the start of my own system monitoring for a couple which i really want to do. To be honest i have a lot more confidence nowadays in my own creations than any others advertised.

You will always know your own creations better than anyone elses and im at a stage where i Do not have a lot of patience with bought systems compared to my own.

That is not to infer that this is not worth a punt, it does tick all the correct boxes from the reviews.

Joined about a week ago and the best money I’ve ever spent. I’m making good money and Andy is so helpful. I’ve learnt a lot which has helped me in my other trading strategies and the console trades are helpful, friendly and mainly profitable.

The homer system is a great trading strategy. Big thumbs up from me.

If you join the console, you not only get the friendly banter but the trades are staked and outlined very clearly for you. There are additional trading strats, that only happen in the console too.

Andy is very patient, very helpful and very good at what he does. If you don’t get certain elements of the Homer system, just tell him and he will keep explaining it until it is clear.

I’ve signed up to this but due to a few family issues haven’t had the time to get going yet.

Could any current user advise on what trading software they use. I assume it can’t be done via the normal Betfair website? I’ve tried Bettrader Evo but it won’t function properly on my PC no matter what I do. Have downloaded Betangel but their free software seems very limited. So as far as I can see I’ll either have to pay out for the full Betangel or Geeks Toy. Does anyone else know of any other software for free?

PS. Do most of you just trade what’s on the console, or do you trade independently and work out your own staking etc?

Ive been trading the Homer system since october and don’t use any software just the betfair site, although Andy did say once that you get slightly better exit prices using his “Geeks Toy” but the trades are very straight forward and using the Betfair site alone is easy enough. Give it a try using the console trades, it’s very easy.

I have read all the comments for this systems review and its seems very good. Could anyone using the service give me a rough idea of how much profit per week/month this has been returning recently. I know we all have different stakes but what were the returns if the liability per bet were as described in the literature ( i think the liability was around £24).

If I could get an approximate figure of what its been achieving weekly/monthly with a liability of £24 per bet it would help me make a decision to buy into this service.

I’m more than happy with the Homer trades and we now have some new strategies being introduced with very high strike rates. I don’t trade all the strats as there are a couple of trades every day that i prefer to go on (out of a possible dozen or so usually) and these seem to suit my trading style best of all. Give it a go, it will certainly open your eyes to trading and help your bank balance too.

I did actually try and have a look at this through the free weekend promotion Andy offered in his comment on 17th November.

However, he emailed me just prior to the weekend saying he’d had to postpone the promotion, but would email me with another date instead.

Hi, do you need Sky sports (or live sports on tv) to be able to do this? I havn’t really touched sports betting too much or for a long while.

For the football trading a lot of the trades that are done are on games that aren’t on live on Sky Sports, so the answer is no.

Just feel that I should add a big THUMBS UP for this System/Strategy,….In fact its not a single method but several different ways of trading, used in a variety of ways to make consistent steady profits.

The owner (Andy) runs a totally transparent service and never hides the fact that losses are a way of life and is keen to make sure his members are aware of this fact.

Anybody new to the console gets lots of help and as long as they have a knowledge of how Betfair works will soon pick up on how to make the most of the Family of “Homer” strats!

My final point is I strongly suggest before joining you use some Trading Software such as “Geeks Toy”

or “Bet Angel” as this makes life so much easier to trade.

I’ve been a member for about one Year now and have my trading and would consider this a valuable resource and would be worse of financially without it.

As far as this system goes its well thought out, and over time has been profitable, so no doubts regards does it work, yes it does, will you be able to give up the day job next week?…no….will it enhance your betting brain…most definately….do i recommend the vendor and the system…..100%….

Goal profits also gets the same thumbs up, but it has to be said for new members to the betting world depending on how you can adapt to trading in the first place that is, Andys system is easier to pick up….

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GIVE LIVE FORUMS A GO. You are trading with the pros in a lot of cases and the help is free…….You will always get people who to be fair cannot make betting pay, but it is sort of there fault if we are honest, do your ground work, and anybody can succeed, given the right attitude….

Very impressed with the posts and positive responses! Just a quick question are the trades limited to certain matches or days of the week?

Most trades will be spread, evenings and weekends, so thats soccer, the evenings are quite frequent as you will see if you join the mailing list, lots of trades and i like the guys attention to detail, its the crux of the trading principles that make it a good experience….

however you will suffer losses, and thats the down side, i say that because it seems that in 2012 nothing has the right to lose a trade or only hit 60%..ish…without ridicule……

They are all very easy to use and the trader always knows that is in stake. I found Andy’s team only after using a very disappointing relevant service and I felt relaxed.

Each day you will get a list of possible trades that you can do on your own and later at night meet other members in the chatroom to share ideas.

Andy’s success percentage is quite high and I can say that his attitude in helping people is very nice.

Certainly give this man a chance!

One of the few service that does exactly what it offers. Have been a member for a couple of weeks and what really impresses me is that the service is “organic” & # 8230 ;. I’ve been a member for about a month now and haven’t looked back. I was initially nervous about paying for a service but what you get is brilliant. You’ll receive a PDF with the Homer strategies in but the real bonus to this system is the “console”. The console is essentially a chatroom where a number of featured trades are shown step by step. These featured trades can be anything from the various types of Homers to some “console only” strategies that are easy to pick up and are amazingly effective. There have been losing trades but the exit points are clearly defined and you know exactly what you stand to win or lose when you start.

The last few days have been amazing on the console with 10 successful featured in a row which is pretty impressive (and profitable) stuff!

Quick update to my previous post; it’s now 13 winning trades in a row using various Homer and console only strategies.

Having joined this service as a total novice to trading the console trades have been invaluable – and fun! I don’t have time to be in for all trades but have won 4 out of the 5 I’ve been involved in, learned about snooker trading and am slowly building confidence to start implementing some of the strategies myself.

Total football Trading i found very good, although many critisized that choice, as many will revolve around just a couple of systems from the ten on offer, however thats the point in getting a portfolio together that suits yourselves. I found a couple of methods to my liking and so will still include it in here. Some pre match and some in play methods in there.

Regards soccer correct score…goal profits but you must practice with any correct score trading.

Trading house is a completely different approach to soccer betting, and is ultra low risk, but some will embrace the strategies more so than usual soccer trading thats for sure, low laying strategies are on offer here, and completely different to others mentioned.

Fts soccer trading has its own website now, but people did not like the lack of trades on offer with the basic lay the draw system, however Ian the vendor is selective for a reason, he still trades his own system picks, but with larger stakes, and he does not email replies now, not that he did before, purely because of the hassle i assume of getting some poor clients who where putting there house on every trade scenario…….a great guy all the same, and many strategies on offer over a wide spectrum of sports.

These are just a few, but the bonus baggin and PM system has to be in the mix here………

My top ones would be Goalprofits, Homer sports, and Total football trading.

Trading house is also worth a look as you say it is low risk and unlike any other trading method I have seen. He also does a cracking Tennis strategy!

Cheers stuart, i had a comment about 18 months ago regards why have i bought so many systems, well if its something of interest, and it could give you another angle…why not would be the question to ask. One sole system will not do it for me personally, i will never put all my eggs in one basket, and im constantly looking at a lot of services. Regardless of price.

Homer and goal profits are just two examples of what is out there as you well say…..but i do still say that no matter how good a system is you have to like actually doing it, if you dont then its like having a crappy job, you will just plod through it and eventually drop it and move on. Once you choose a path thats right for you. you will be more successful.

I hadn’t seen that. I’m not saying it is the best, just worth a look, if you like low liability, low risk type trading and it was different to anything else I had seen.

I agree the forums and chatrooms are sparsely populated. That is the reason I am no longer a paying member.

The new season has started how the last one finished off and Homer Sports Trading is continuing to prove very profitable.

If you can’t tell from this and previous comments I can’t recommend this service enough. I think the current offer of getting access to the trading console without having to buy the PDF document is an absolute bargain and means more money to start trading with!

i only joined a few days ago, first impressions are good everyone is friendly and helpful and there is a really useful pdf with alot of good strategies in. think ive done 3 trades so far had 2 winners.

I recently joined the sports trading service over at: homersportstrading, don’t let the name put you off though, it has nothing to do with popular, yellow cartoon characters.

I’ve been into sports trading (football) for a about a year now, I was basically going around in circles, successful month, bad month, successful weekend, bad week etc. and would have to start all over again. It wasn’t that I hadn’t the discipline, I just didn’t have solid strategies behind me to make the most of the different markets.

Andy and his team give you 5 ‘Homer’ strategies (the name comes from the fact that the strategies are based on the Home team scoring) and 4 others which focus on goal markets. The strategies are really easy to understand, and clear staking and clear exist points for when a trade can go wrong are also outlined. You won’t win them all, to be a sports trader you need to understand then, but with good exist strategies potential losses can be minimized.

I only joined about 3 weeks ago, but my bank has steadily grown every week. Most users follow Andy, or one of the other Chatroom leaders, in the daily ‘Featured Trades’ (usually one per weekday, more on weekends). Yesterday, I took the plunge and went with 2 games that had been highlighted in the daily (emailed to you) newsletter. They weren’t ‘Featured Trades’ but I felt comfortable enough to go with them alone. In the first game the home team scored mid-way through the 2nd half, ensuring whatever the result that I had a profit of at least €25. In the next match, using the same strategy, the away underdog scored first, causing the odds to crash down and when the Home team pulled a goal back profit was ensured, another €18. Add to that the winning trades led by Andy and Redkopper in the Chatroom and I’d made around €85. Not too shabby for a Sunday afternoon.

The lads in the Chatroom are a good mix of noobs and experienced traders. Andy and his team are extremely helpful and even if not involved in trades they will give advice to those who have decided to go with ones outlined as potential suitors in their newsletter.

They don’t shy away when a trade goes wrong and their daily newsletter recaps the previous night’s trades, whether they won/lost or scratched and additional comments on them.

My only criticism of the service would be the Java-Chatroom, it’s very 1990s Internet, (a WordPress one would look nicer if you’re reading lads) but to be fair, if that’s all I’ve got to complain about then it’s a moot point really. I should mention too, that when a new movement is made in the Chatroom the trade leader notify the other members with a sound effect. So even if you’re browsing on another page, so long as your volume is up, you won’t miss out on the action.

Hi all, appreciate I’ve missed the boat in terms of the reviews, but I’ve recently picked up the “Homer-Low” system and been using it for about 2 weeks. I’m actually down by about £90 so I thought I’d do some back testing.

Using the data from football-bet-data I was quite easily able to extract all games that met the criteria for homerlow (wont give away the exact parameters on here).

There were 2,660 games that met the initial criteria, and although there are recommendations to exclude certain leagues (always wary of doing that anyway) I saw no difference in the % of scorelines when these leagues were removed.

So from the 2,660 games just over 40% were 0-0 at half time, which leaves at best a scratch. In fact only 4% of games that were 0-0 at half time resulted in a scratch.

Then the 0-1 scoreline had 14.5% outcome, with only 5% of these resulting in a scratch. So instantly that is nearly 46% of games that result in a loss and just over 9% that result in scratch.

Will profits and losses described as equal (The MLE is set around the same amount as your average profit) its quite clear to me that this can not be profitable.

Unless I’ve missed something glaring??

This looks interesting. Is it still working? I am tempted to buy this but am not sure about gambling terminology and associated methods. Is there an introduction into this for newbies like me?

Can anyone update us on whether Homer Sports is still doing as amazingly well as earlier posts would suggest or if it’s gone the way of a lot of services. The results on website don’t seem to have been updated this year.

Yes the service is stilI going. I have been a member for about 2 years now and it has evolved from the time it used to trade Homer strategies only to a full football trading service.

I think Andy could do more to get his service noticed but he is not that sort of guy. I know he tweets.

He has some great strategies that he leads most days with his service partner in the chat room, including one new type that is doing very well and HomerHT which is a second half trade throught to FT. I have subscribed to a few services but this one is down to earth and well structured. The bets are announced in audio so you could be out of the room or on another tab and not miss anything.

It says something if almost all the comments on here are positive.

reading acocker’s comment. If he/she is looking for a strategy that can blanket every single game around the world then he/she will be broke in no time. Whether it’s Homer or any other strat from any service, it’s all about match selection.

When I joined up I got a few docs so I think he is still doing that.

I have been a member for ten days now, I have attempted to trade football before but i must say Andy knows his stuff, his New strategys are something else .. oh and i am up £178 in 10 days .. what can i say !!

been a member for a couple of weeks now, its the best trading site ive come across. Great strategies, Andy and Redkopper very helpful, everything is explained, full transparency of results. Ive been footy trading for about 3 years off and on and these guys are defo the best. I can say for sure I’m gonna be long term member here.

I joined HST about 2 weeks ago and all i can say is that simply anyone who wants top class advice and strategies in a great friendly environment to join up.. The strategies are very well thought out and Andy along with redkopper are always there to help.

There’s no sales talk or wild promises, just good trading and sound advice. I know it’s easy for me to say this after a few weeks of good profit with them, but i really see this as being a service that will go on and get even better. I would highly recommend to give this a go.

After trolling through all these reviews of which 90%+ are positive, no one has said what their P&L is after being with them for a length of time, letes say 3 – 6 months. There are a few systems/strategies that can work for a while, but does this work long term and at what rate of success. SOMEONE PLEASE SUPPLY THE PROFIT AVERAGES PER MONTH.

I see this thread has not been added to for quite a while. Just to say they are still going strong and have changed their name to Trading Live Football with a slogan of ‘no spin – just honest trading’. I am still very happy with how they run their service. Results have always been up on their website but P&L is all relative to how much your risk is.

Strats are strong but its all down to research although the team post daily picks which can be traded outside their console. If you are looking for a strategy where you can just turn on the profit tap in auto pilot then you are going to have one hell of a search!
